We are hosting a small dinner party this weekend–perfect excuse to tablescape! After taking down all the Christmas/NYE decorations this weekend, I enjoyed bringing out some of my non-seasonal favorites. I started with this vintage silk table runner I bought on eBay.
For the centerpiece, I chose to pick up the brown trim on the runner with a porcelain vase with a brown pattern (purchased at Maison Decor) filled with dried hydrangeas along with glittering earth tone tapers (Oak Forest Designs). I picked up the Tiffany’s crystal candlesticks at Summit Antiques Center (they were a bargain!)
This serving piece came with the vase as a set.
I also picked up green accents in the the runner with coordinating green napkins (Ralph Lauren, Home Goods) and green/brown/gold-beaded napkin rings that I purchased this summer while visiting my husband’s family (Everything but the Kitchen Sink in Hockessin, Delaware).
I layered on top of my wedding china these D&Co France L. Bernardaud & Co. Limoges plates made solely for the Wright Tyndale and Van Roden store in Philadelphia, PA, which makes them somewhat rare. I love the delicate floral pattern and lovely gold details.
For a little more green, I placed an artichoke in each of the cocktail glasses. Wrapped in sheer gold ribbon, two ecru taper candles become a take-home memento.

Beautiful presentation, Laura! That is going to be SOME dinner party!!! The honeycomb candles are really neat. They burn so nicely, too. Everything used for your centerpiece is lovely, and the table runner…FANTASTICO!!! Ebay, huh? I have seen so many people get so many great things on there. I have got to start frequenting it more. I spend so much time on the computer as it is….my husband might take exception to me finding another computer-based outlet! 🙂 Beautiful table! Have a wonderful week!
