This week’s tablescape was inspired by the bold patterns of my favorite linen supplier, Hen House Linens. I love the modern and preppy style of these linens-they shout gracious living without being stuffy.
Mixing-and-matching the patterns allows you to reinvent your table with simple changes. This swatch combination is called Bargello Navy and Bold Stripe Navy and can be purchased at http://shop.henhouselinens.com/. If you are local, you can find a great selection of Hen House linens at Seasons in Madison, NJ.
I used all white china (Lenox, Opal Innocenc) and milk glass serving pieces for contrast which makes the brights look even more modern and crisp.
The centerpiece consists of a Fenton silver crest milk glass trumpet vase filled with hydrangeas and a pair of Fenton silver crest candlesticks with navy blue candles by Caspari.
I found this silver pie server at le Marche de Puce at Porte de Clignacourt in Paris.

I am just terrified of bold colors, but you certainly have the knack for styling with them. The white Fenton glass is the perfect foil to compliment the color. Your pie server is a great find!
